Plans for the 7th annual Spring Festival of Homes are underway. This year’s will be held April 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2008. Sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem and the Winston-Salem Journal, homes will be open to the public from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day of the event.

This event is FREE, so plan out your weekends and be sure to stop by and see the new construction our builders have to offer. You may see a home that you like or a style that you want to build somewhere else. Or maybe you aren’t ready to buy just yet but you want to start a file for a few years down the road when you know you’ll have a lifestyle change to adjust to.

The 2008 Spring Festival of Homes will also feature the Spring Festival of Homes Association Home. This house is a great value for the investment because many of our suppliers and subcontractors have discounted their services/products to ensure they would be showcased in this home during the event’s public showings.

And check out the Winston-Salem Journal on April 11 and 18 for the insert with all of the directions and descriptions of the 100 houses!

Buy it Like it’s Hot!

Published by admin under Real Estate

When a great investment opportunity comes along, don’t drag your feet. The way that the housing market is right now with the sub-prime mortgage issues, interest rates and housing prices have fallen for a buyer’s benefit. However by waiting for the prices to come down much farther, you might miss out on it all together. Finding the right property might seem like finding a diamond in the rough, but it will most definitely be worth it in the end.

Buyers Keep Your Options Open

Published by admin under Real Estate

There are a couple different ways that you can search for a new home. One that has become more popular is by searching online. It’s nice because you can look at pictures and the features of the house are usually clearly listed for you. This can save you lots of time by skipping houses that you would immediately be turned off by. Another method is hiring a realtor to work on your behalf. The advantage is that you will have a realtor to negotiate for you and should be able to offer you information about the area and the housing market. REALTOR®s also get updates on what houses are new on the market. Overall, it could save you a lot of time. These two REALTOR®s have outlined the benefits of each.

Published by admin under Real Estate

A REALTOR® is a priceless tool. Yes, you have to pay them for their services, but the personalization that becomes available to you is what will make the difference in your search for a house. Most people just look at the price tag instead of knowing what a REALTOR® does for us by offering their services. The following two blogs show us how beneficial REALTOR®s can be, whether it’s for purchasing a foreclosure, a home for your family, or selling a property.
